Daily Prayer For April 12, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

There is such a sense of urgency that time is short and there is no time to waste. We ask for the courage and strength to overcome the trials that are before us. We ask for spiritual eyes that see as you see and your wisdom that we might understand all that we see.

Please use us to help others in need and to spread the hope that Jesus offers. There is strength in numbers and it’s so important that we support each other in prayer and encourage each other with your Word. Help us to rise up against the things that threaten to pull us down. This is not the time for giving up, or being stuck… it’s the time for rising up and overcoming and saying, ” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!”

Father, so many are tired and weary. Many can’t remember the last time they had good, sound sleep. The attacks against them have been relentless. We ask for the immediate needs to be met. We know all over the world at this very moment, there are people who are without shelter and living in the harsh elements…they are hungry, desperate and sick. We know there are frayed nerves, fear and desperation as bombs and guns are going off all around in war-torn areas. We know there are people who are suffering from persecution and because of natural disasters. There are children and adults being held as captives against their will and people who are being tormented, some even in their own homes.

You are not blind or deaf to the needs of your children and we are lifting our voices as one and looking to you as the source where our help comes from. We are coming together in agreement and praying for your will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. We are asking you to rescue and save those who have no voice…those who feel forgotten…those who are helpless and powerless…those who need you to make a way where there is no other way…we stand firm on your promises and know that you are the solid ground beneath the shifting sand of this world…You are our deliverer and advocate. You are The Great I Am who was and is to come…we know you are the same yesterday, today and forever and you are still doing miracles and we are praying for miracles, Father.We thank you in advance for all you will do and we give you praise, glory and honor. We thank you that we have a Savior in whose name we can pray. Amen
