Daily Prayer For January 18, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Dear Heavenly Father,

As we gather together today, we ask for you to shine the light of truth in dark places of our lives. We look to you to be the beacon that leads us on the narrow path that leads to you…we look to you to lead and guide us in the midst of our dark days and our increasingly dark world… help us to remember the darkness is not dark to you…your light dispels the darkness and nothing is hidden from you.

We pray for healing, freedom and for any unhealthy guilt or shame to be lifted. Father, you don’t just want our hearts to be wholly yours, you want our hearts to be whole. Please instill in us the belief that it is your opinion that matters above all others…please forgive us for the times when we have let the words and opinions of others, instead of your own, become our inner voice…please forgive us when we have put pleasing others, ahead of pleasing you…please lead anyone who is needing to change old thoughts and destructive patterns to the wisdom, knowledge and help they need to overcome and change in this area…please help us all to focus and meditate on you and your Word, so we might find your peace and joy.

For everyone who is dealing with rejection….for everyone who is being slandered or having lies told about them…for anyone who is being persecuted, mistreated or judged harshly…for anyone who is being bullied or abused…for all who have been misunderstood …we pray for healing for troubled relationships and broken and damaged lives…we pray for the truth of every situation to be revealed…we pray for guidance and wisdom for all who are struggling to release to you the situations they are powerless to change… please restore all the enemy has stolen and destroyed, Lord. We thank you in advance for all you will do in this area.

The days are growing short and there is no time to waste. Please help us to be strong in you, so we don’t give the enemy a foothold in our lives … please help us to change what we can, and trust what we can’t, into your hands.

Father, we are asking for spiritual, emotional, mental, physical and financial healing and provision for every need. You tell us to be persistent in our prayers … so, Lord we are coming with open arms and expectant hearts to receive all that you have for us …we want to live in the fullness of your joy …help us to remember you are always beside us, even when you seem silent or distant…your timing is not ours…your ways are not ours…but your timing and ways are perfect. Please help us live our lives to our fullest potential. We ask these things in the name of our Savior Jesus, Amen.
