Daily Prayer For December 8, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you today to ask for healing… many have experienced traumas and hurts that have never been shared with anyone…Lord, please touch the broken, painful areas of our lives and heal the wounds that are seen and unseen…we pray for all who are grieving and sad and ask that they will feel your comfort and peace…

So many things we do not understand, Lord…we all struggle at times with why things happen…we shake our heads in disbelief with so many things that are said and done in this life…please help us to let go of the questions and be satisfied that you have the answers… you see all and know all and you are in control…one day the veil will be removed and we will see clearly and we will understand all that was incomprehensible in this life… help us to keep our eyes on you so we may have peace. We ask you to take everything that weighs heavy on our hearts…we give you our burdens, we give you all of our needs, we give you our loved ones and their difficult situations, we give you our hurts and pain and ask you to transform these things as only you can…Lord, please tear down any walls that we’ve erected to protect ourselves from pain…our walls can become prisons of our own making…help us to find freedom and healing … please restore all that has been lost…all that the enemy has taken from us…fill the cracks and crevices and broken places with more of you…more of your strength, more of your overcoming power, more of your courage and with the hope, peace and joy that only you can give…

We pray for all who are dealing with viruses, disorders, accidents and diseases…we lift to you all who are unable to sleep at night…all who are in pain…all who have found no relief, or anything to help…We ask for your healing hand to be on each one…we ask in faith, believing that all things are possible through you and we ask that your will would be done, our Jehovah-Rapha, The Lord who heals…

We thank you and praise you for all you have done for us and all that you have yet to do. We are standing fast on your Word and promises, Lord. We eagerly wait to see the transforming work you will do in each of us as we yield our lives, thoughts, and emotions to your healing touch. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen
