Daily Prayer For November 4, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today..

Dear Lord,

We thank you for seeing us through this week. Lord, our hearts are heavy when we see the needs of our friends and family who are hurting…when we see and hear of people who are dealing with illness and injury…when we realize how many do without the things we take for granted like clean water, heat when it’s cold and a/c when it’s hot, a place to call home, a soft bed, food to eat, medical care and a safe place that is free from violence, abuse and persecution…Lord, we lift up to you all who are in these difficult situations…please intervene, Lord…may they feel your peace replace their fear and anxiety…may they see your hand move on their behalf and find the provision that they need for their needs to be met…please open doors for jobs and housing…for all the parents whose hearts are heavy and they are feeling overwhelming emotions because they can’t provide for their kids the way they want to…Father, please have mercy and poor down your grace…we pray for miracles Lord for all who are in need…

Lord, please help us to live with an attitude of gratitude and be grateful for the grace that is shown to us. Help us to reach out and help where we can…we may not be able to do much, but please open our eyes to see opportunities that are around us to minister your love and to be your hands and feet. Help us to comfort others with the same comfort you give us…help us spread hope, love and cheer with those who have none… you are just looking for willing hearts…you take what little we have and multiply it….you turn a little into more than enough…Oh, Lord, help us to be a comfort and a blessing to someone today…even if we are in the midst of our own trials…it can help us to feel better to help someone else…please bless us so we can bless others, Lord…

Father, we ask that you go before us. Please make the rough roads smooth…Open doors and close doors according to your will…help us to trust that you will withhold no good thing and if you do, it is for our best, even if it makes no sense to us now…even when we don’t agree…thank you for the gift of being alive today, Lord…for the chance to make a difference…for the opportunity to draw closer to you…for the chance to change what we can and to love those we hold dear, one more day. May we not take anything for granted and may we make the most of what we’ve been given. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
