Daily Prayer For October 1, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
Today we lift up to you all who are struggling with frustration…we ask for your peace to overtake each one so their minds can be at rest…it’s hard to walk in the dark and not know where you’re going… it’s hard to not see what lies ahead… at times our difficult situations can make us feel claustrophobic…we feel squeezed in on all sides…we feel panicky and so uncomfortable by not knowing what will happen next…it feels so wrong to feel so out of control…Lord, help us to remember that you are the only one who truly has control…
Help us to trust that we are exactly where we are supposed to be… you are teaching us… you are refining us…you are preparing us for a future and a plan that only you can see at this moment. You know us Father and you are mindful, and so well aware of how we think and what we feel… you are infinitely kind and compassionate towards us…you don’t want us to be anxious, worried or afraid…you offer your peace…may we grow through our struggles so we become spiritually and emotionally mature…help us to cling to the truths that we know about you when nothing makes sense and when our emotions threaten to overtake us…help us not to lean on our understanding, but to acknowledge you, your character and your unfailing Word…
Father, we give you our questions. We give you our fears. We give you our uncertainties. We give you our trust issues. We give you our pain. We give you everything…we lay before you every relationship and every situation in our lives that is beyond our control. We give you our doubts, everything that has disillusioned us and everything that upsets us… Please give us clarity, Father. Please give us your wisdom, knowledge and discernment. Please soothe us and help us to be still before you…We thank you that we can be honest with you, Lord. You understand everything about us and you are full of mercy and grace. Lord, we need you and we thank you for hearing our prayers and we look forward to seeing your hand move in our lives. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen
