Daily Prayer For July 9, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you so emptied of ourselves…we come with open arms and ready hearts…we ask to feel your nearness and to rise above the tragedies in the news,the anger and bitterness that divides us and the unreasonableness of people…Lord, you said things would be like this…you said we should not be fearful…that we should not shrink back…that we should keep looking up because our redemption is drawing near…help us to focus more on you the problem solver than our problems.

Lord, you can still change hearts…you can help blind eyes to see…you can replace hatred with love…you can fill us with your supernatural love that allows us to love the unlovable and difficult people, and to forgive the unforgivable…we know you are moving…you are still doing miracles…millions are finding you through dreams in the Middle East…you are still making a way where there seems to be no way….we pray that people will come to know you so their wounds would be healed, so their anger would dissipate, so people would see the error of their ways and the pain they inflict…

We are here to point the way to you…we are here to intercede…we are here to share there is hope with the hopeless…to comfort the afflicted and grieving…to say that you are the Prince of Peace that pours out your grace and mercy upon those who simply ask…Lord, we are asking for your blessing to be upon us so we can share those blessings with others…we want to receive all you have for us…we want to live with hope filled hearts that can battle the constant discouragement the enemy is throwing at us…we humble ourselves before you, Lord…please forgive us of our sins…please minister to our spirits…help us have a healthy balance in every area of our lives…you say that you will give wisdom to all who ask and we are asking, Lord…we need to know how you would have us navigate in this fast changing world…we need your help to have our words speak your truth with love…we need your help to not be fearful…to not be judgmental, to not let the world make us hard…it would be so easy to be upset all the time, but that is not what you want for us…help us to stay the course…

Lord, by your power and strength we will go out this day…we are equipped…we are surrounded by angel armies…we are filled with your power, strength, might and peace…we may be weary, but we know that you will sustain us and one day all the ugliness of this world will be over…but in the mean time we will fight on our knees for our leaders, our countries and our world… for our families, friends and enemies… for the destitute and the desolate, for the widow and orphan and all who don’t know you… In the name of our Savior Jesus we pray. Amen
