Daily Prayer For June 24, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
You tell us in your Word that we are to forget the old things and not dwell on the past…you want us to see that you are doing a new thing…you want us to believe that you can make a way where there seems to be no way…you want us to rise like an eagle and soar above the storms of life…you want us to run and not grow weary…to renew our strength.
Lord, we ask for anyone who is afraid…for anyone who feels so defeated they don’t even want to try…for anyone who has given up on you or your promises… for anyone who feels like they are afraid to move forward because the uncertainty of the unknown is too overwhelming and it feels safer to stay where they are… please infuse each person with hope and courage…help them to dare to reach out to find your strength…help them to hear your voice in the wilderness telling them to follow you and to trust you…you tell us that you will help us to escape from the fowler’s snare… our enemy likes to trap us and ensnare us any way he can, but you long to set us free…you don’t want us to live in self-imposed prisons where we are chained to bad habits, hurts from the past, guilt, bitterness, anger, fear, anxiety, negative thoughts, addictions or worry.
Lord, we ask for deliverance…we want to accept your promises to set the captives free, to bring us out of the shadow of death and burst our bonds apart. You have given us wings to fly…help us to embrace with courage all that you have for us…Lord, please meet each need…please lead the way for those who don’t know how to move forward… please help those who don’t know what they need to do to find peace and healing…please give us a hunger and thirst for your Word so we can apply your Word to our hurts …so we can grow in your knowledge and grace…
Thank you, Lord for never giving up on us…thank you for believing in us and standing beside us…thank you for making a way for us and seeing things not just as they are, but how they will be. May everyone reading this find freedom from every bond and chain that keeps them from experiencing your joy and peace and all you’ve ordained for them. In the name of our Savior Jesus we ask these things. Amen
