Daily Prayer For June 22, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
Your Word says there is no where we can go to escape your presence. Your hand is there to guide us and to hold us. Because you are with us, we have nothing to fear. If ever we feel far from you, help us remember it is not because you have moved … if there is anyone who has turned away from you for whatever reason,Lord, please speak to their heart…give them the courage to come before you to receive your forgiveness… to receive your healing… to be restored to that intimate fellowship that you want with each of us.
We thank you for being a refuge to those in distress… we thank you for being our shelter from the storms and our shade from the heat. The fact that you are with us does not mean that we will never struggle, but it does mean we will never struggle alone. People often cry out and ask where you are in the midst of their trials…we can know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are right there with us…pouring your strength and comfort into us. You are there wiping our tears and grieving with us, holding us close under the shadow of your wing.
You tell us to be strong and courageous…. to not be terrified or discouraged…When we pass through the waters you will be with us, when we pass through rivers, they will not overtake us, when we walk through the fire you will be with us…you are with us until the end of the age…you are our helper… and an ever-present source of strength and help in times of trouble.
Oh, Lord, may your words ring in our ears and bring comfort to our souls. May we feel empowered knowing the Lord of Lords and King of Kings is with us always…may the thought of how precious we are to you, heal the hurts inflicted by others. May the thought of how invested you are in us, make us feel valued and treasured…may we find healing and hope as we claim your promises and trust in your word. Lord, help us all to realize that the only one we need validation from is you…the most important relationship we have is with you…help us to nurture our relationship with you by making you first in our lives and by spending time with you. We offer up all we are and ask that your will might be done in our lives. We praise you and thank you for who you are and all you do. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
