Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father…

We all have regrets in life…things we wish had never happened…words and actions we wish we could change or take back…relationship mistakes we’ve made… the many times we squandered or foolishly spent our time, energy, money and health…the older we get, the more we can look back and realize how differently we would do things if we were given the chance…sometimes we don’t realize how precious things are to us until it’s too late or they are gone…

You don’t want us to waste our lives living in guilt, shame or with regret, but you do want us to learn from our mistakes…we can’t go back and change anything… and we have to let go of the things that we can’t change… we can only make the most of this day that is before us…we can choose to run the rest of our race well and to make the most of our days…

Lord, help us to live the rest of our days with eternity in mind…help us to love more…help us to be kinder and more compassionate… help us treasure our loved ones more…share you more…pray more… encourage others more…serve you more…trust you more…live more for you…we will never regret doing the things that you have called us to …we will never regret doing things as unto you…we will never regret following Jesus and trying to be more like Him…we will not regret anything that is done for your glory and kingdom…

Thank you for redeeming everything in our lives…thank you for forgiving our sins and our mistakes…thank you for your patience when we have focused more on the things that we lacked, instead of appreciating all that we had…thank you for loving us regardless of our faults, frailties and failures…thank you for believing in us in seeing past all that we are to who we will be…life is truly like a vapor…our lives go so fast…

Lord, you say that you will give wisdom to all who ask… so we ask for you to increase our wisdom and knowledge that we might use our time, talents, energy and resources in the best possible ways…give us your wisdom so we won’t waste time on things that are not the best use of our time…help us to have discernment and to live life to the fullest and to the best of our abilities…help us not to stay stuck where we are … help us to make whatever changes are necessary in our lives …whether it’s emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually or financially…help us to be the best that we can be… help us to not put off the things that you have placed on our hearts…we thank you that because of Jesus, each day holds hope…each day has promise…each day we wake up means you have a plan and a purpose for us…fill us, Lord…mold us, use us, heal us, renew us and live in us this day…in the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen.
