Daily Prayer For January 11, 2016
Tue Jan 12, 2016 12:52 am
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
At times we feel like we don’t have anything to give…we can feel depleted and inadequate in every way, but like the widow who gave all she had with her 2 mites, you are just looking for people to come to you just as they are… with the little they have… so you can be magnified in their weakness, weariness, emptiness and lack. You are looking for the weary and downtrodden who persevere when it would be easier to give up and give in…for those who need you like the air they breathe … and just like you took a few fish and few loaves of bread…you will take what little we have and turn it into more than enough. Regardless of how we might feel… as your children, when we come to the end of ourselves, we find your strength, your energy, your resources that never run out.
Lord, there is a purpose for all we endure. The enemy has a plan to destroy and to defeat us, but you have a plan to redeem each trial, each heartache, each tragedy and loss that comes into our life… we ask for all who are battle weary today…may they find rest in you. May we find that place where we can just forget the cares of the world and find quiet solitude in your arms our, Abba Father. May we find refreshment… May we find physical, emotional and mental replenishment. Whisper in our ears that everything will be okay and reassure us that we are not alone. May we find hope and healing in the name of Jesus. May we feel the Holy Spirit’s presence, giving us comfort… and may our testimony when we rise from these places of weariness be that you truly are enough…You are the giver of life , The One who sustains us… the One who gives rest to the weary…You are the God who restores our souls and you are the lifter of our heads.
Father, please open your store houses and meet each financial need…please lay your healing hand upon all who need healing…please bind the wounds of the broken and draw us all closer to you. May your grace be enough to see us through. We bless you and praise you… In the name of our Savior Jesus we ask these things. Amen
May your hearts be filled with His hope!
