Daily Prayer For December 18, 2015
Sat Dec 19, 2015 11:26 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for another opportunity to join in prayer… please calm our hearts and clear our heads as we come before you. May we focus on You this moment and may we feel Your Holy Spirit touch us. For just these few moments, may we be lost in Your love and be free from worldly cares… may we feel the hope and joy that comes from knowing that someday we will have no more pain, worries, cares or sadness…Lord, so many are feeling the pain of grief and loss and longing to have loved ones near… we ask to feel your joy well up inside of us… instead of sadness, may we take comfort and rejoice that our loved ones are now healed, whole and full of more joy and peace than we can imagine….help us to set aside our sense of loss for this moment, so we can rejoice for their gain. Please dry our tears and heal our hearts as only you can…
Lord, we welcome you into our hearts, homes and our lives. We ask for you to anoint us with your favor. We ask for your blessing to be upon us, so we can bless others. We ask for your angels to surround and to protect those we love… We ask for you to lead us, guide us and hold us close as you walk with us… please forgive us of our sins, Father…. May we be washed white as snow. If there is anything in our lives that is hindering our prayers, please show us so we may be right with you. We pray others will see you in us…we pray at the end of every day we will be closer to you and more like Jesus.
Please pour your Living Water into the dry, parched places in our souls. We ask to exhale stress and breathe in your peace, even now as we pray. Thank you, Lord for wanting to spend time with us. Thank you for your loving concern for us. Thank you for holding us close to your heart and in the palm of your hand. We praise you Lord and we lift your name on high. You are so worthy to be praised and we are so grateful for your unconditional love, for your grace, your mercy and forgiveness. We thank you for all of our blessings. Please help us to find time to rest and sit at your feet this weekend. Please lead and guide us in all that we do and say. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen
May you renewed, refreshed and restored this weekend!
