Daily Prayer For September 18, 2015

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Everyone is dealing with something…some less, some more than others, but it seems like everyone we know is dealing with so much… the trials are intensifying and multiplying for everyone. You said it would be this way…you told us what to do when we see these things happening…we should look up to you…we should make ourselves right with you…we should trust you, because our redemption draws near…Lord, when we are in battles and struggles, we ask for your courage and boldness…we pray for your energy…for your peace of mind…for your wisdom, strength and discernment…for your heart and mind to overshadow everything that we see, hear and face…may your promises and words of wisdom come to mind and calm us and guide us. May we cling to your truth when the way seems dark and everything we have known is changing…
Father, we pray for our loved ones and ask for your protection for them…please meet each need. So many of us have loved ones who are in such bad places…physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and financially. So often we feel helpless to do anything…but we know we can pray and that is not a last resort, or something to do because there is nothing else to do…prayer is the first, best thing we can offer…taking others to your throne is the most important thing that we can do for anyone…help us to always remember that…it’s so hard to watch those we love suffer, hurt and be in need… you know that as well. You watched all Jesus went through…you see what each of us go through, and you grieve with us…Lord, please do what we can’t…bring comfort, bring healing, give provision, give your peace and draw those we love close to you. Please bring the prodigals home, heal and restore relationships, soften hearts, and help the addicted to find freedom and healing and the depressed and suicidal to find hope and healing. May those who don’t know you be saved…Lord, we can’t imagine eternity without those we love…please make a way where there seems to be no way with those who have stubborn, hardened hearts…we come before your throne and pray for deliverance and salvation for those who don’t know you…

May our trials and all that is going on in the world draw us closer to you in prayer and faith. Lord, we ask for an outpouring of your Holy Spirit and we thank you for standing with us… for your comfort and for the promises of better things to come. Lord, we lay our burdens at your feet and ask you to take them. Fill us with your peace. Thank you for sustaining us with your grace. Give us wisdom to know which things we can change, and help us to trust you for the things we are powerless and helpless to change. In the name of Jesus we ask these things, Amen
