Daily Prayer For January 10, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…
Our Father,
We thank you that there are no coincidences with you…you orchestrate things in our lives to bless us, to give us what we need and to fulfill your promises…You have a divine plan in place for each of us before we even take our first breath…things in our lives may take us by surprise, but nothing ever takes you by surprise… even when we stray and go outside your will, you have a plan of redemption in place…thank you for your watchful eye that’s upon us…thank you for your patience with us …thank you for being a loving Father who desires to see us prosper and grow in your mercy and grace.
Please help us to make better choices…we often forget how every small choice to do, or not do something, impacts us…the outcome of our day can depend on our choice of attitude, the voices we choose to listen to, the choice to watch t.v. or spend time in your Word, to focus more on our wounds instead of our healer, to focus on your promises or our feelings…far too often we have a choice to do something that could help us to cope better or to find peace and we don’t take it…too many times we have rushed around and made you our last priority instead of our first… we often forget or choose not to do the very things that can help us to be victors and triumph over our circumstances.
Lord, please help us to be more like Jesus…may we cling to your truth and your life-giving words today and may we speak life-giving words over ourselves and others…help us to look beyond what we can see or feel and trust you with the things that are not seen…help us to be filled with your hope, joy, and peace…help us to keep pressing into you and help us to trust you more…may our eyes be opened to see things with spiritual eyes. May we find time to be still before you so we may hear your voice and grow to know you in new, more intimate ways.
In the name of our Savior, Jesus, we pray. Amen
