Daily Prayer For March 24, 2023

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
I hear from so many people who are weary from life’s struggles…their plates keep overflowing with adversity and loss with no signs of relief in sight…no matter what they do, the clouds don’t seem to part…they don’t see your light in the darkness…they feel there is no joy or peace to be had…they want a break from the heartaches and struggles…some just want to slip away from the world so they can find respite and relief…they long to find a place where they won’t be disappointed by people, dashed hopes, or unfilled needs…they long for a place of solitude and comfort where the things that keep pressing down upon them will be lifted…
Abba, you know where each of us is right now…you alone have the answers to every question and the provision for every need. We ask on behalf of everyone in a dark place to please part the clouds that hide your light. We ask for rest for the weary and healing for broken bodies and hearts.
Please infuse all who feel hopeless with your radical hope. Please send your angels to stand guard while they receive much-needed rest. Send people to stand in the gap and be the hands and feet of Jesus to those who have battled alone for far too long.
We pray for anyone who needs a breakthrough. We ask to see your hand move in weary hearts, troubled minds, and dire circumstances. We know you are always with us in the dark, and the darkness is not dark to you. You are always faithful…please hide under your wing everyone who is depressed, weary, and overwhelmed so they might find rest, healing, renewed stamina, strength, and hope. Please pour out your grace and mercy upon each one and let them see and feel signs of your nearness.
So often, we are helpless to do anything for those we know in need. We can lend a listening ear and offer our prayers, but we know where our help comes from…we know our prayers and silent cries of the heart are not falling on deaf or uncaring ears. We know you are the God of Comfort and Compassion…you are our healer, defender, and shelter from the storms. Your hand is not shortened that it cannot reach us, you are full of mercy, grace, and kindness. Please do what we can’t, Abba. Shine your light in the darkness and help each hurting heart and person in need find your strength to keep holding and fighting to reach better days. Please bless them in ways they can’t begin to imagine. We thank you in advance for all you will do and for our Savior, Jesus, in whose name we ask these things. Amen.
