I wasn't much online anywhere

Hello all dear ones here !

These last months I wasn't much online anywhere on Sims 2 forums. My husband and me started to renovate our home (wall-paper, painting, new furniture) as for his new professional projects he needs to have an office corner. I'm also helping a little bit in my own manner for the professional project details, possibly I'll have some secretary work, some time in the future.

For Sims 2 all is a little bit delayed for me, as to contribute here and on another forum. I'm concentrating my attention on purging old Sims 2 CC that I don't want anymore (really old clothes, and such), then revamp what I find still good enough, etc.

I know that nowhere in the Sims 2 community anything is very urgent (it's a hobbie). So there isn't much to worry about, in my case.

Thank you for the welcome back... Wemm it's not like I just would have been away for months or years.

In two years we'll renovate our bathroom from ceiling to floor. We'd have to get rid of the bathtub to replace with a large shower place. It will be about a month of work for just this bathroom, so I'm already putting down some ideas, because a friend will help us, as he's professional in this domain (plumbing, electricity, etc.).

We're all doing well in my small family. It's refreshing for me to have a much brighter looking office room, with beautiful wood flooring and white walls. It's a small room in fact and therefore it needs really bright light colours. My husband will have his office furniture only by September. My daughter now has a boy-friend and I hope for her that it might last for... let's say a very long time. She's 25 years old now.

Thank you Cinda. It's nice to have people like you inside the Simmers community. Not all places (forums) are as peaceful as Simmersgarden. I like to relax here, each time the layout is beautiful and inspiring. I also read sometimes the daily prayer section.

Thank you Cinda. I would have some ideas for the forum here, to contribute a little bit more. I have now a fileshare account to host my Sims 2 stuff. I was thinking of suggesting a sort of Sims 2 section for funny challenges to retexture or create, after selected themes which could be various (example, randomly : country life, holidays, oriental fashion, etc., etc.).

I know that we aren't many members here being actively sharing their CC, but just for the fun of being here... I would be pleased to get your opinion on such a new section here or how else you would figure it out.

I agree with you, Cinda. Myself I don't create meshes. I also tried and lost my patience. As you know I can create walls, murals, recolour objects and retexture clothes, jewels. For Boy, Build and lots, I'd need more time (esp. for lots°. I got to sort my own furnished lots again, because I have to deelte two or three objects which are conflicting and I haven't had much time to locate them exactly. I have to locate those objects in my big Buy mode folder to delete them entirely, so to not re-use them anymore.

On some previw pics I made for past shared creations of mine, I'd have to redo them, as on a few I put a watermark with a former forum URL on it (which forum I deleted about three years ago).

For a poll, it'd be a good idea to start with.
