Daily Prayer For February 2, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you for being the solid rock on which we stand…for being the steadying force when our world is rocked, when our faith is shaken and when we feel our losses to the core of our being. No matter what happens to us in this life, no matter what comes against us to try to bring us down, your love remains. You are the wind beneath our wings and the hope in which we anchor our faith.
To place our hope in people, things or even in hope itself is futile. Everyone will be failed and let down by people at some point. Everything in this world with wither and fade away, but no matter what comes or goes, you are always the same….yesterday, today and forever…The Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and the End.
Lord, please help those who feel like they are floundering…for all who feel like they are just treading water trying to hold on until help arrives… Please pour out your grace and mercy even as we are praying now…help us not just to seek relief, but to seek you…no matter what are need, our greatest need will always be you…you are The One who lifts us from the miry pit…The One who puts are feet on solid ground…The One who calms the winds and waves…The Great I Am who holds us in the palm of your hand and under the shelter of your wing.
Father, please touch each one who is praying…please meet each financial need…please lay your hand on each person who is in need of healing… each one who has lost a loved one… each one whose heart is heavy for someone they care about…each one who is exhausted…each one who is dealing with a difficult person or situation…help us to remember your nearness and your promise to comfort those who mourn…your promise to turn our mourning to joy and dancing…
Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on us this very moment…help us to believe that we will see your goodness…help us to wait on you and be strong and courageous. Lord, we give you all that we are, all that we hope to be and all of our burdens and pain and we ask you to have your will and your way with us. Help us to trust that we will not fall and we will not fail because you are with us. We thank you in advance for all you will do and give you all praise, glory and honor. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen.
