Daily Prayer For October 14, 2016
Fri Oct 14, 2016 6:44 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the blessing of waking up today. Father, we ask for your help so we do not lose sight of you…help us to see your hand and your intervention in our lives… help us to not grow cynical or calloused by all that is going on in the world…help us to seek your will and your purpose and not our own…help us to see your light in the darkness and to remember that you have overcome the world.
We ask for help, Father, to do better and to be better… we are not how we’d like to be, but we know that you are not through with us yet…we know we are not where you found us, and you will continue your work in us until you call us home…we thank you for your mercy and forgiveness…we thank you for your patience and your grace…we thank you for your healing power…we thank you that we can never be too broken or so far gone that your touch can’t change us, heal us and make us whole.
Help us to not become worn down by the world…help us to not lose our sense of wonder and innocence… help us to remember that no one has seen, heard or conceived of what you have prepared for those who love you… may we be filled with joy, anticipation and hope when we remember such glorious promises… may your words help us to rise above affliction and adversity…help us to see the good, before the bad… may we see with your eyes and love with your love…help us to believe and hope for the best, just as you do… help us to believe in the power of prayer, and proclaim that you are still on the throne…that you are still in charge and still doing miracles…help us to have faith that believes that all things are possible through you and things aren’t over until you say they are over…help us to grow in your knowledge and grace and to spread the hope and good news of Jesus to everyone around us. We love you Lord and we give you all praise, glory and honor. We thank you that we do not face this day and our struggles alone. In the name of our Savior Jesus we pray. Amen
Blessings to you friends!
