Daily Prayer For July 27, 2016
Thu Jul 28, 2016 8:30 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
The Word says that you uphold us with your righteous hand…we are told that your arm and hand are not too short to save us…you scattered enemies with your arm…you redeem with your outstretched arm…your outstretched arms deliver and rescue us…your uplifted arm, leads us…your righteous right hand holds the stars in place and upholds us at the same time…
Lord, may these thoughts of your strength give hope to the hopeless and weary…you promise to sustain us… you never grow tired or weary… you never leave us or forsake us…we will never be far from you, unless we choose to move away…you will never let go of us…we are held firmly in your grip and nothing can snatch us from your hand…when we think we are slipping and can’t hold on another day, help us to remember that it is not our strength that matters, but yours… it is not our grip that matters, but yours…the waves don’t overtake you…the shaking earth beneath our feet doesn’t become too unstable for you… you do not falter or fall…when we are too weak, you carry us…when we are worn out, you offer us rest in your arms…you guide us in the darkness…you impart your strength…you light the way…you shield us and protect us, uplift us and hold us…help us cling to these truths…the enemy lies, discourages, deceives…but he cannot snatch us from the safety of your powerful arms and hands.
May people reading this be encouraged when they think about how you never give up on us…never…you are the one sure constant we can count on…yesterday, today and forever…ever faithful, never changing…it’s not by our power or strength but by yours…it’s not what we do, but what you did…it’s not who we are, but whose we are…we are yours and you are ours…
Thank you, Lord…thank you for being all we need…thank you for the safety you offer and the security that we have in you…we humbly bow before you and say you are so worthy of our respect, trust, obedience, honor and praise…with your help we shall overcome and endure…with your blood we are cleansed and made righteous…with hope in you, we shall persevere until you call us home…thank you, Lord…in the name of our Savior Jesus we pray. Amen
Blessings be upon you friends!
