Daily Prayer For February 16, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
Lord, there are many praying along with us who are struggling with their grief as dates are coming up that remind them of their loss… there are many who are feeling a sense of impending doom as they see their relationships on the verge of collapse… there are many who are feeling panic well up within them as their money is running out and their options are drying up…there are many who are fighting health battles or multiple problems all at once…there are so many who feel like they are under constant siege and they are weary and tired…
Lord, may each of us be reminded that your eye is upon us… You are never late and you are fully in control…the enemy tires to bring us to the place where we want to give up…he wants us to turn from you… he wants to sideline and derail us…and make us feel discouraged and hopeless… but you are faithful and you will help us to face all we are given… you are mighty and full of awesome power…we may think we can’t take one more day or face one more thing, but you will see us through…you equip us…sometimes we are in situations that we would be unable to deal with on our own…but we are not on our own…you are with us and together we can do all things. You power is made perfect in our weakness.
Lord, many are full of despair … they feel they have nothing to live for… may their prayer change from, “take me home Lord, I don’t want to live”, to “show me how to live in this situation”… show them how to live in this life without their loved ones physically in it…show them how to hold on through their pain and ailments, the financial struggles and the times when they feel lost and alone…may they see reminders of your faithfulness and the hope you offer today…it’s hard to feel your peace when we are in the pit of despair, but you are there with us and you will pull us out and put our feet on solid ground…give them the desire to reach out and try one more time…give them a new vision…a new way of doing things…a new mindset…fill them with your peace and give them a glimpse of the eternal…a reminder of what awaits and what is to come… that we are here for a reason and there is purpose in our pain and all we go through. You waste nothing in our lives and each morning that we wake up means you are not through with us.
Please pour out your blessings on my friends, Lord…speak to their hearts…give them a new sense of purpose and belonging…open the door that will lead them closer to you and shut any that will lead to things that are not helpful or harmful. Thank you in advance for the work you will do. In the name of Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.
May you feel His joy and peace wash over you!
