Daily Prayer For October 26, 2015

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Our Father,

We thank you for the chance to come before you again in prayer. Lord, we come to you and we look to you this day to be the lifter of our heads. We come before you knowing that you are all we need…you are the source of every good thing we have ever known…The Giver of Life, Our Living Water, Our Daily Bread…thank you, Lord for your goodness…thank you for your love that knows no bounds and no end…Lord, fill us we pray… fill us with your Holy Spirit..fill our hearts with your joy…help us to remember the many times you have seen us through things we didn’t know how to survive… help us to remember the times you answered our prayers in ways that were different from what we had asked, but down the road we saw the wisdom in your answers…we saw your way was better than ours…how many times have we been spared, because you knew better than to give us what we asked for…

Lord, may we worship you and honor you in all we do this day…no matter what tasks are before us …even if we are sick in bed, or feeling wiped out from grief and sorrow…whatever is before us, may we seek your face…may we make you proud in all that we say and do…keep us close to you, Lord…may we worship you in our hearts…may songs of praise be on our lips because you are our God and we are your beloved children …may gratitude be the language we speak today…may we be filled with hope and your peace that passes all understanding as we surrender our lives, all that we have and all that we need…

May we hunger and thirst for more of you… for more knowledge of your Word, more of your wisdom…more time spent with you… please take our lives and mold us and shape us into all that you want us to be…may we be pliable and teachable…may pleasing you be our highest goal and priority…may we remember that only what we do for you will last…

Lord, we love you…we bow before you with humble hearts and thank you for calling us “friend”. We thank you Jesus, for interceding for us…for doing what we could not…for giving yourself that we might live…we are grateful to have you as our Savior who knows our sorrows and understands our grief and who stands beside us through all we face. Thank you for giving so unselfishly of yourself to make a way for us, Lord. In the name above all names we pray, Amen

Praying you will be filled to overflowing with His peace, love and joy.
