Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord

We know that life will be full of change as long as we live. Sometimes change comes because of our own choices, but most often, this is not the case… Lord, we ask for you to bring peace to those who are struggling with the changes in their lives… we ask for your help to accept the things that are beyond our control. We may be in a place or situation that we could never have envisioned for ourselves, but you are with us and you are still on the throne and in control. Nothing has escaped your notice, nothing will happen to us that you have not already made a plan and provision for. Help us to look forward to what new things you have for us in the midst of difficult changes… help us to be expecting good to come out of our circumstances… help us to look for the beauty and hope that will rise from the ashes, ruins and rubble of what was…

Lord, we pray that you will help heal the wounds that come from the changes and losses we’ve experienced. We pray that everyone will feel your presence, your strength and comfort… You are the solid rock on which we build our lives…may everyone praying, build their foundation on you and your promises, your words of encouragement and your truths. Your Word stands forever and you do not fail. The world may change, everything known and comfortable in our lives may change, but you will never change…You are our stability, our anchor and our hope.

In this life there is much pain, but there is also overcoming… May we mount up with the wings of eagles. May we confidently say “who or what can be against me when God is for me….what was meant for evil against me, God has used for good.” The enemy is always seeking to keep us off-balance… he wants to stumble us and to see us fall. May we not be shaken or moved, Lord…help us to stand boldly and confidently knowing we are held firmly in your grip.

Father, we pray for your blessings to fall upon us. We pray to feel your stabilizing force in our lives today. We pray that we will have courage in the face of uncertainty… we pray that we will not view changes in our lives as indicators of our value or worth…we are more than our social status, marital status, financial status, physical appearance or our health issues. May we remember that your banner over us is love. Thank you Lord for being all that we need. We give you this day and all that is in it. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen
